The U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) is hosting this workshop featuring U.S. government and industry representatives offering insight and solutions on improving air transportation by leveraging information technologies and techniques in aviation data management. The workshop will also explore fresh business prospects to optimize capacity, efficiency, safety, and sustainability.
The complex and rapidly expanding air transportation industry is adapting to change through innovations in information systems, data-sharing agreements, and data analysis capabilities. Data sharing and other advancements can also assist airports in adhering to International Civil Aviation Organization guidance.
This workshop will feature U.S. government and industry speakers presenting on how to use data to improve air navigation, airspace management, airport design and efficiency, and decision-making.
The workshop is held under the U.S.-Southeast Asia and Pacific Aviation Cooperation Program (ACP), a public-private partnership that works with Southeast Asian and Pacific Island aviation stakeholders to design programs that promote civil aviation cooperation in civil aviation by matching partner country needs with U.S. technical innovation. The ACP is industry-led and supported by USTDA, the FAA, and other U.S. federal agencies.
